About The Road

The Road is a blog powered by b2evolution (kind of like WordPress, but less snooty and not so many "WordPress crashes if you get more than 20 viewers" stories). It is the latest name and iteration of a meandering topical news & political blog by the author, Jad. Jad has been writing steadily about politics since about 2004, and politically came of age between the 2000 disputed election and September 11th. Since then he has been a fan of many, but not all, liberal policies, and would consider himself in the neighborhood of a socialist - especially when it comes to economics.

This blog will cover a decent range of topics mainly centering on news of the day and opinions that the author has. Every now and then there will be guest posts from people that Jad knows and respects for their thoughts and opinions.

If you are looking for discussion beyond what are in these posts, look no further than Confundo, a forum run by the author of this blog. Much, much, much more is talked about there than here, topic wise at least. Hang around there, hang around here, whatever you would like oh dear reader.
