Greetings. I’m Jad, and I’m a 25 year old fellow living in Detroit’s suburbia. I’ve written rants and the like for years in various places, and I’m hoping to write here in this nice centralized location for a good time to come. I’ll tend to write about things that I care about, so you’ll find a healthy serving of politics, economics, news, and the occasional rant. You’ll probably quickly pick up that I am coming from a liberal point of view but hopefully you don’t typecast me as an ideologue. I like to think that I am capable of free thought every now and then.
I also do enjoy photography and pretending that I’m good at taking pictures. I might lighten the mood here every now and then with some random selections of what I take.

i liked what you wrote about your trip over the border to Canada. as someone who used to go the other way on a regular basis i have many similar stories at that very same crossing. now i just don’t bother going over anymore
